You left Israel because you couldn't stand living under constant threat of extinction, yet you think the problems will be solved when Israel stops getting military aid...? Sorry, this makes no logical sense and shows zero empathy for your own people.

Israel's existence is constantly threatened and you know it all too well. How is that going to be stopped? By Israel being forsaken by its last allies?

I truly wish for Palestinians to live a happy life, and not to be oppressed or living in poverty- but so much of that oppression and poverty is because of their own government. I have spoken to Palestinian officials- they told me they keep their people in the refugee camps on purpose. They said they will not build homes for them with the aid money, because they need them to stay "hungry to return to their old homes in Israel".

Do you understand? They use their people as pawns and their suffering as fuel for their war! And all this while their leaders take all the money for themselves, becoming millionaires...and of course investing it in further ammunition and weapons.

The media tells a one-sided story but just look at the simple facts. Israel is a democracy where women's rights and gay rights are upheld with pride. What gay rights do you know of under Hamas? Maybe if they had their way and took over this land, they would conduct their Jihad as they proclaim, kill the Jews and the Middle East would have no gay rights at all.. how fun would that be?

Lastly, and most importantly, it's too bad you left Israel and especially, its deepest teachings of Kabbalah. Perhaps you should take it up again because it actually gives the key to solving all hate.

It is the method to achieve "Love thy friend as thyself", and according to it, it's Jews who have to correct their hearts first. In that you are right- but they must start with each other. Jews are the most divided nation there is. If we can overcome our own divisions- that will be the light to the nations we are destined to provide- a model and a path for world peace.

This is the deeper, spiritual reason Israel was supposed to be founded- to become this beacon of light for others. Because we have not done that, our neighbors, and indeed the world at large- do not feel that Israel has a right to exist.

There's nothing our world needs more than a method to connect people above their differences and opinions. America is one such country that needs it more than anything.

Let's dig deeper into the mystery that is Israel. Don't call for Israel's destruction, call for our awakening to its higher purpose.
