Even Iranian activists say this. They see that Hamas is using sick tactics as a terror organization. They are angry that Iranian money buys the rockets of Hamas instead of investing in the basic needs of the Iranian people.
I think the reason that so many people don't see this is the twisted mindset that sees the weaker party as automatically correct. Also there's a great deal of Antisemitism, which is the reason This conflict is singled out while many other people and crises deserve more attention.
As I wrote, I think it is because Jews hold the key to peace within themselves, and their heritage, and must awaken to that. The pressure will rise until they do.
